As many of you know, my daughter Liza is graduating from the University of Alabama this May (wahoo!). When she was home for Easter I asked her for some ideas of things she would like as a graduation gift. I brought Liza into the store to pick out some of her favorite items. Here’s what she picked:
If your soon-to-be collegian or working child does not have a S’well water bottle, come in soon to grab yours…these sell out quick!
For those on the go, this Tech Wristlet is great for holding your phone, credit card, driver’s license and some cash. Whether entering or graduating from college, young adults acquire keys to their dorm, car, apartment, work, etc. Hold them together with a cool keychain, either from Smathers and Branson or Lenora Dame. Unless your child/niece/neighbor/friend is moving to San Diego for school or work, they can definitely use a new umbrella. Why not monogram it?
Everyone loves jewelry! Plus, we have a wide range of price points currently in store. Two of Liza’s personal favorites in this price range were the Meg Carter Flower studs and this Lenora Dame necklace. A great unisex gift that works for both the man and woman graduate, is this Smathers and Branson flask, available in most colleges! Do you love monograms as much as I do? If so, these monogrammed acrylic cuffs are completely customizable and a great gift! Who does not love a cotton throw? This one is super fun with the pom-poms, and comes in coral, blue and green.
One of the first things Liza picked out when she was in the store was a new pair of Jack Rogers! From the Shelby Wedge in platinum, to the classic Navajo, we have a wide variety in store now. Druzy stones are all the rage right now (Liza agrees), so she picked out this beautiful Blue Druzy Cuff. Our Suzy T. cuff is great for the person with a funky or elegant style! This monogrammed necklace in gold or silver is a very thoughtful graduation gift. Due to the high demand this time of year, be sure you place your order about six weeks in advance of when you need it! Will the person graduating be on the go all the time? If so, they will love having the Harper Roller Tote for books or work!
There are so many beautiful pieces of jewelry in the store right now! Liza’s three favorites in this price range were the Meg Carter Blue Druzy earrings, the Ancient Coin Cuff, and the Mystic Double Strand Pendant necklace. If you are in the market for a dress to wear under the graduation robe, come on in! We have a few white dresses for those of you with a white robe, but Liza’s is red, so she picked out this Nicole Miller Coral Gold Strappy dress. Another gift for the men in your life – a Smathers and Branson Needlepoint belt. Order your college today!
