Every year, I feel Easter is the holiday that falls by the wayside as far as family traditions go.  For Thanksgiving and Christmas, we always do the exact same thing. But for Easter, we tend to be super low-key.  When Liza and Mason were younger, we would always have an Easter egg hunt. Now that the kids are older, our plans are not as extravagant anymore.

I share my story with you to emphasize that we all have different family traditions – some lavish and some minor.  Whether you are hunting eggs with your children, enjoying a beautiful sunrise service and light brunch with your spouse, or serving a huge family dinner— we have your attire covered!

For Church:
Conservative is key when it comes to church. Being the talk of the town for the best new dress is one thing, but no one wants to be the talk of Alexandria for showing too much leg or cleavage on Sunday morning.

This silk Britt Ryan Coral Reef shirtdress keeps you covered and comfortable. If you go out to brunch after church like we typically do, this is the perfect transitional dress.

I love this Tyler Boe Kristen dress because of the cotton blend fabric that keeps you cool throughout the day. And the best is that it comes in both navy and coral which suits everyone’s skin tones.

For Brunch:
If you really think about it, it can be quite challenging to find an appropriate look for brunch. You have to find something super cute, ideally sleeveless if you’re going to sit outside and want to get sun on your arms, and, most importantly – some stretch in the fabric so you can have “just one more” Bloody Mary.

This Amy Matto Colette dress meets all of the brunch attire requirements.  The geometric medallion print is a flattering pattern, and the wrap skirt really cinches the waist! The lines on this Amy Matto Maxine dress create a flattering look on all. Both of these dresses are perfect for brunch but also transition well to the workplace. Just throw on a blazer, and you have a nice, professional look.

Similar in cut and print to the first Britt Ryan dress pictured above, this shirtdress is much more understated with a tan and white pattern.  Wear this to brunch, and you will be dressed to impress.

For Dinner:
I will make any excuse to get dressed up with my family and enjoy a nice dinner out, free of cell phones and the other distractions that come with eating at home. Pair this dress with a heel or wedge for a little lift.

How beautiful are the colors on this Britt Ryan Rio Dress?  The coral and neon pink look especially amazing when you have a tan, and the metallic gold makes this piece extra special.

No matter what you have planned, I hope you take a moment to reflect on this day and the true meaning behind Easter.

Happy Easter everyone!!
